SUBSTRATES (What this printer is meant to print on): Non-porous materials like plastic, rigid plastic, metal & aluminum, bags & pouches and glass.

The Pro S can use both solvent and water-based fluids, compatible cartridges include, but are not limited to: SP4 Black Ink and S2 Black Ink

  1. What does this include?
    This comes with the printer itself, a remote control and the brackets to be able to mount it. Click on the box image to the left to see the open box. Ink cartridges sold separately (S2 (32ml) Black Solvent Ink Cartridge).
     
  2. Will this print on or work on my “bottle” “jar” “box”?
    The solvent ink cartridge is designed to run on a large variety of substrates such as plastic, metal or glass. You are welcome to send in sample product for us to test and verify quality and placement of the print/code.
     
  3. Can I go see one somewhere?
    We offer a 30 day 100% money back guarantee, or a conditional 30 day purchase order to try it out to test it for yourself. Otherwise we have videos on almost every application.
  1. Does this come with ink?
    Ink is not included in the printer. Purchase cartridges separately - S2 (32ml) Black Solvent Ink Cartridge
     
  2. Will I need an encoder?
    An encoder is an absolute must have in two instances:
    a. Any barcoding applications, QR, 2D, Data Matrix or standard barcodes require an encoder to insure precise dot placement needed for consistent readability. 
    b. Whenever line speeds are inconsistent.  An encoder will eliminate the possibility of stretched or compressed prints.
     
  3. How long will this last?
    While on average we say 4 years, but a number of printers we've sold have lasted 8 years.
     
  4. What is the warranty?
    12 month warranty from the ship date.
