INK OF THE MONTH: RightScan - black oil-based pigment ink as a direct replacement for Trident® ScanTrue II ink

SUMMARY

RightScan is a black oil-based pigment ink as a direct replacement for Trident® ScanTrue II ink. RightScan ink replaces Diagraph, Foxjet, Mathews and other ScanTrue II ink users. RightScan ink is compatible with Trident print heads and it is mineral oil free (MOF). RightScan ink offers crisp, dark print on substrates. It prints verifiable barcodes and minimize ink bleed on porous substrates. The print will have good light fastness and wet fastness once dried.

PRINTER COMPATIBILITY

RightScan was developed to operate in Trident print heads only and can not be used with other printheads.

CHANGEOVER PROCEDURE

RightScan ink is a direct replacement for Foxjet, Mathews, Diagraph and other OEM’s who uses ScanTrue II inks. No flush is required.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

RightScan ink has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture when stored at a temperature range of +35oF to +95oF (+2oC to +35oC). Prolonged exposures to temperatures and humidity (> 55%RH) outside the limits will shorten the ink shelf life. If there is a possibility that the ink has been frozen during shipping, bring to room temperature (+70oF to +75oF or 21oC to +24oC) before use. DO NOT shake before use.

PACKAGING CONFIGURATION

RightScan ink will be packaged in 500 ml or 1000ml bottle with a cap that fits the ink reservoir.
